Summary:
The VP, Quality, Risk & Safety oversees the overall direction and coordination of patient safety and quality.
Requirements:
Integrates quality efforts and quality education initiatives in concert with the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of clinical performance and service outcome measurements and oversight of those operations that are integral to meeting organizational quality and safety goals. Coordinates and integrates quality improvement programs within health system and in collaboration with appropriate leadership. Ensures the successful management of quality initiatives in concert with medical staff(s) leadership. Serves as a key advisor for organization-wide decision-making in matters pertaining to quality improvement, clinical excellence, and safety. Develops, prepares, and implements ongoing multifaceted education quality initiatives that have as their goal the preparation of the medical staff for future health care quality delivery systems and initiatives.
Education & Experience:
Five years of experience in a healthcare environment managing quality, risk management and patient safety. Doctor of Medicine
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
Current licensure as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) in the state of Florida preferred.
