Job Summary The Technical Writer’s position is responsible for developing content that documents technical concepts and processes in clear language, including technical requirements for the development of software and online web applications, program and user guides and various sales and marketing ponsibilities: earches, writes technical documentation for web applications, product manuals, user guides and policy procedures. earches, writes content for Sterling’s sales channels, its departments and company products and services. These include but are not limited to sales flyers, ads, white papers, case studies, product announcements, newsletters, news releases, product manuals. veys and explains information clearly and effectively to deal with sometimes complex financial services products and services ilitates draft materials review with Sterling’s Executive team, department heads and product managers to meet marketing goals. ates and incorporates recommended changes in documents. vides updates to tracking logs to indicate the current state of documents. ks under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meets deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities in a calm and professional manner. onstrates critical thinking, strong analytical ability, and judgment when solving problems. ofreads and edits copy. pares various reports, summaries, and written recommendations. rns and applies corporate style conventions and standards ks collaboratively within a team environment. tners with other functional areas to accomplish objectives. ablishes and maintains effective working relationships. ilitates meetings to ensure that all viewpoint, ideas, and problems are addressed. ponsible for other tasks as assigned Business/Technical Writer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English,journalism, business, engineering or scientific field required witha minimum of three (3) years experience in developing product requirements and documentation, marketingmaterials, news releases and product announcements.
