• As a pharmacy technician with Coram you will perform IV admixtures sterility testing in accordance with policy, maintains appropriate documentation.
• Assist the pharmacists in the preparation and labeling of medications.
• Prepare sterile parenterals following appropriate aseptic technique.
• Conduct quality control and sterility testing. Maintain and track DME and other equipment including cleaning and calibration activities.
• Orders, receives and stores medications and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred, one year IV experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Some states require a pharmacy technician certificate or license.
  
• Under no circumstances may a pharmacy technician mix medications or provide service without a licensed pharmacist present.
  
• Current CPR certification required if involved with direct patient care.
