Operations Analyst/Staff Supportor
Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking experienced former military professionals/government civilians to work under contract on Eglin AFB, Florida, in support of a joint capability for analyzing combat systems architectures to measure performance across fires, intelligence and command and control (C2)/battle management functions in order to assess capability gaps, military needs, and interoperability deficiencies.
The mission of our deployable analysis team is to use architecture-based methodology to plan and conduct field analysis of C2 information systems and procedures, to produce decision-quality data, and to make fact-based recommendations to improve joint C2 integration and interoperability.
This operational assessment mission requires: machine-to-machine data collection, management and analysis; developing interoperability metrics based on strategic-level guidance and Department of Defense requirements forums; prototype experimentation and validation; understanding joint, interagency, and multinational C2 requirements; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and dynamic targeting procedures.
Working as integral members of functionally-organized teams, each Operations Analyst / Staff Supporter will provide research skills, technical capabilities, and analytical expertise related to joint fires, C2, and ISR specialties.
Operations Analysts must be knowledgeable of all applicable lethal and non-lethal Joint Fires publications and doctrine, and also conversant on Major Service publications and doctrine related to lethal and non-lethal fires.
Additional Common Functions: Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine. May have specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises, including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis.
Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in any field is required. 2. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience related to Joint Air / Ground integration and 3 years related to research and system analysis. 3. Must be a U.S. Citizen 4. Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's Degree 2. Minimum of MEL 6 or B, or service equivalent. 3. Relevant and recent joint combat experience. 4. Current TS/SCI security clearance.
