 Title: IT Trainer
 
Position Description:
The IT Trainer will join a strong team which will deliver, train and sustain LAN/WAN tactical communications systems for the U.S. military. The Training team will be responsible for ensuring proper user training is conducted for various communication systems including enterprise local area networks (LAN), Full Motion Video (FMV), Radio over IP (RoIP), and Voice over IP (VoIP). These networks have the potential to operate over classified military networks; COMSEC, OPSEC, and INFOSEC will be addressed during these training sessions. IT Trainers will assist in keeping all training materials up-to-date, including quick start guides and any documentation that is helpful to the user. IT Trainers will provide classroom feedback and techniques that increase the efficiency and productivity of training to users.
 

This job posting is in preparation for an upcoming bid/proposal effort.

Responsibilities Include:
·        The training team will keep all training materials and course curriculum up-to-date
·        The candidate will coordinate with the customer to ensure a proper training room and equipment is available, and all equipment is shipped and available for the user's training class
·        The candidate is responsible for keeping all equipment in proper working order during training classes, and assisting technicians when not involved in training activities
·        Ensures compliance with training processes, ITIL, and DoD directives and policies
·        Must be willing to travel up to 30%

Essential Skills and Experience
·     5 years of experience (or Bachelors in IT or training discipline + 1 years) in military IT communications preferably in a tactical environment. 
·     Windows Server 2003/2008
·     Windows XP/Vista/7
·     Must possess excellent communication skills
·     Must possess excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Desired Experience/Skills:
·     Cisco certifications preferred
·     Education: MS, MA, or Bachelor's degree
