Technical Director - cyber security software
Tampa client seeking a hands-on developer/architect that has developed and led software projects that prevent cyber attacks, virus intrusions, denial of service, etc.
Essential Functions
The Technical Director will lead the development of new software architectures, applications, and security features for communication / security products.

Requirements:
An Active (or within the past 2 years) U.S. Government Security Clearance.
10+ years experience in leading the development of complex software systems
Ability to think outside the box and work with industry, academia, and government researchers to develop next generation architectures and software to support emerging capabilities
Development of software development plans, requirements, and test plans
Strong practical knowledge of software security and vulnerabilities
Experience with Department of Defense Global Information Grid (GIG) and net-centric systems
Experience developing applications for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
Experience in network protocols and management tools (TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP, IPSec, SNMP)
Network application software development
Experience developing software that combats internet attacks and intrusions
New product development experience
Innovative thinker ready to push the state of the art
Good personal communications with customers and engineering staff
Strong leadership ability
MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Desired:
Familiar with Information Assurance (IA) policies and procedures
Active TS clearance
Some web experience is good but NOT looking for a web architect
