A member of our Technical Services Division, located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, has an opportunity for a
Computer Network Operations Attack Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Technical Services located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, has an opportunity for a CNO Planner. This position supports a unique joint staff capability supporting the integration and synchronization of DoD military activities with USCENTCOM and other government agencies. As member of a theater-strategic operations synchronization team, evaluates and coordinates implementation of USCENTCOM CNO plans in support of the Global War on Terror. This person is primarily responsible for conducting Counter Network Attack planning and coordination. Supports communications interconnectivity relating to all aspects of Information Operations (IO) planning. Assists with integration of all Information Operations tools to include psychological operations, electronic warfare, deception, physical destruction, operations security and Special Technical Operations (STO). Coordinates with IO crisis planning groups and assists with compartmented IO and STO plans. Duties involve daily coordination and deconfliction of USCENTCOM actions and activities with the Joint Staff, other unified commands, components, service staff, supporting commands, and other government agencies. Works on or assists government lead high-priority USCENTCOM implementation and planning efforts involving joint, interagency and multinational actors. Works on and coordinates implementation and planning efforts with government counterparts in USCENTCOM Component Commands, other key Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Office of Secretary of Defense, as well as counterparts in other Federal Departments and Agencies. Also assists government in coordinating with Coalition and Regional Partner representatives regarding operations in the USCENTCOM AOR. Any candidate wishing to be considered must show the ability to work both independently and as an effective team member, planning and organizing work, and have the flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines. Candidate must be tactful and diplomatically oriented to work in a multi-dimensional service, government, and contractor environment.
Basic Qualifications: (THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE):
• Ability to facilitate senior level and action officer level seminars
• Must have experience working at a primary, or senior level staff in the federal government or military
• Must have CENTCOM AOR experience as well as OSD/Joint Staff/Combatant Command experience
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in singularly creating and editing documents in a federal government planning discipline within DoD
• Four (4) years of combined experience in project management, planning and scheduling, risk analysis/ management, process analysis, and basic research
• Bachelors degree and a minimum of six (6) years experience in military and/or defense industry. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
• Must have excellent communications and customer skills (both oral and written), to communicate effectively with customers and clearly present technical approaches and findings
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Top Secret level security clearance with SCI access to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• 18 years of experience with JPME-II desired.
• Military background with an understanding of Military Training Sites preferred.
• Group facilitation and briefing of Flag level officers or civilian equivalents experience desired.
• Understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) is highly desirable.
• Ability to write/prepare operational orders, plans, mission support requests, field reports, etc is highly preferred.
