Clinical Services Director
The primary role of the Clinical Services Director is to manage and coordinate the delivery and supervision of clinical services for the specific site. The Clinical Services Director is responsible for ensuring that all clinical staff meets the licensing requirements and program descriptions necessary to deliver those treatment services as outlined in the participants Plan of Care as well as in-service training to program staff.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
• Oversees and manages the sites clinical programs and services
• Manages and supervises clinical staff by providing continuous coaching, feedback and progressive discipline as necessary.
• Develops and implements programs and services within the residential environment to support the clinical needs of participants who have high intensity behavioral, cognitive and physical needs.
• Ensures that participants psychotherapy and case management services are being delivered to the individual as prescribed in the Plan of Care or as otherwise indicated.
• Assigns caseloads, evaluates performance for quality assurance, conducts new employee orientation and manages staff development and training in conjunction with the Residential Manager
• Establish liaisons with and conducts pre-contract interviews with consulting staff (psychiatrist, psychologist, medical director, etc.)
• Provides staff consultation on medical and psychiatric incidents as necessary
• Ensures development of Plans of Care
• Collaborates on the development of recruitment goals. Oversees the processing of referrals, intakes, assessments, matching and placement of new participants. Monitors the supports needed for participants to maximize success in the program.
• Promotes and markets programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups. Monitors the availability and efficacy of community based supports required by the program.
